Manage your subscription in-app
Shipped in version 2.7.0
Everything to do with your TaskForge subscription now lives inside the app. Open the Customer Center and you can cancel, change plans, ask for a refund, restore a purchase, or get help, without hunting through the App Store or Play Store settings.
Before this, the "Manage subscription" button just bounced you out to the store's subscription page, which buried the controls a few taps deep and looked different on every platform. The Customer Center brings those actions into one screen that behaves the same wherever you are.
What you can do
- Cancel your subscription. Stop the renewal without leaving TaskForge.
- Change plans. Move between monthly and annual, or see your upgrade options.
- Request a refund. Start a refund request for a recent charge (where the store supports it).
- Restore purchases. Pull back a subscription you bought on another device or after reinstalling.
- Get help. Reach the support options for billing questions.
The exact set of actions depends on what your subscription state allows and what the store offers, so you will only see the choices that apply to you.
Where to find it
Open Settings, then Premium. If you have an active subscription, a Manage Subscription row sits at the top of the screen. Tap it and the Customer Center opens.
You will also land here from the paywall. If you already subscribe monthly and buy lifetime, TaskForge reminds you to cancel the subscription you no longer need and sends you straight to the Customer Center to do it.
The row only shows when you have an active subscription. Lifetime owners do not see it, because there is nothing recurring to manage.
Platform notes
- iPhone, iPad, Mac: the Customer Center talks to the App Store, so refunds and plan changes follow Apple's rules.
- Android: it talks to Google Play, so the available actions match what Play allows for your purchase.
In every case the actions are real store operations. A cancellation here is a true cancellation, not a note that TaskForge has to sync later.
