We're incredibly excited to announce that TaskForge now speaks your language. With support for 10 languages including English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional), TaskForge is now accessible to users around the world. Simply choose your preferred language in Appearance settings and the entire app switches instantly.

What Is the Global Quick Add Shortcut?
Desktop users, this one's for you. TaskForge 2.0 introduces a customizable global keyboard shortcut that triggers quick task creation from anywhere - even when the app is in the background. Capture that fleeting thought instantly without breaking your flow, no matter what application you're working in.
What Does the Weekly Calendar View Offer?
Planning your week just got easier. The new weekly calendar view gives you a focused 7-day layout with smooth swipe navigation between weeks. Toggle between monthly and weekly views with a single tap to get exactly the perspective you need. Combined with the new unified calendar that lets you view all tasks or filter by custom list, scheduling has never been more flexible.
How Does the TaskNotes Body Content Editor Work?
TaskNotes users can now view and edit markdown body content directly in the task details screen. A built-in markdown formatting toolbar makes it easy to add rich content to your tasks without leaving TaskForge. Your notes, links, and documentation live right alongside your task metadata.

Which Languages Does TaskForge 2.0 Support?
TaskForge 2.0 supports 10 languages, making it accessible to users around the world. Localization goes far beyond translating menu labels - the entire experience adapts to your chosen language.
The supported languages are English, German (Deutsch), Spanish (Espanol), French (Francais), Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Portugues), Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, and more languages are being added with each update.
When you switch languages, every part of the interface updates: navigation labels, button text, settings descriptions, and contextual help all appear in your chosen language. Even the task creation dialogs and property editors are fully translated so you never have to guess what a button does.
Notifications and reminders also respect your language setting. Task due date alerts, daily summaries, and snooze confirmations all arrive in the language you selected. This means TaskForge feels truly native regardless of which language you speak.
Date and time formats automatically adapt to your locale. If you use German, dates display as 'Tag.Monat.Jahr.' Japanese users see year-first formatting. This attention to locale-specific formatting ensures that dates are always intuitive and familiar.
How Do I Upgrade to TaskForge 2.0?
Upgrading to TaskForge 2.0 is straightforward and preserves all of your existing data. Here is what to expect during the upgrade process.

Your existing settings, custom lists, notification preferences, and vault connections carry over automatically. You do not need to reconfigure anything after the update. TaskForge 2.0 reads your existing configuration and applies it to the new interface.

If you have a Premium subscription or lifetime purchase, all premium features remain active after the upgrade. There is no need to restore purchases or re-enter any codes. Your premium status is tied to your App Store or Google Play account and carries over automatically.
